Junior Sous Chef

The Olive Tree Restaurant at The Queensberry Hotel is looking for an ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team.

Join the award winning team:

  • Only Michelin star restaurant in Bath
  • 3AA rosettes
  • Work with Chris Cleghorn, trained with Heston Blumenthal (Fat Duck at Bray), Michael Caines (Gidleigh Park) and Adam Simmonds (Danesfield House)
  • Career progression opportunities, would also suit a Senior Chef de Partie to be trained up to a Junior Sous level

Your profile:

  • Relevant experience required

The rota system will mean that you will work five days out of seven each week. Including 1 breakfast shift (6.45- 3pm) and 4 x split shifts.(9-3/5-finish).

Accommodation might be provided, subject to availability.

The salary for this position is £24,000 p/a inclusive of gratuities.

Chef de Partie

The Olive Tree Restaurant at The Queensberry Hotel is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our dedicated kitchen team.

This role will include working most weekends, public holidays and most evenings. The rota system will mean that you will work five days out of seven each week including split shifts covering breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Kitchen Porter

The Olive Tree Restaurant is looking for a full or part time Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team.

The role is based upon 5 days per week on a rota basis with 5 straight shifts. On an average of 40 hours per week.(£8.17 an hour)

This is a physically demanding job working in a high pressure and very busy environment. Ideally we are looking for someone with some experience although training will be given.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cleaning the kitchen
  • Operating the dishwasher
  • Basic food prep
  • Assisting the kitchen team in daily duties
