Chilli and Ginger
Jam
makes approximately 2 Jam Jars
Ingredients
10 mild – medium strength red Chillies
2 Red Peppers
2 Gloves Garlic peeled
500g Preserving or Jam Sugar
250ml White Wine Vinegar
200g Stem Ginger in Syrup
1. Deseed the chillies
and red peppers, no need to chop them
2. Place all of the
ingredients into a saucepan and slowly bring to the
boil, reduce the heat and simmer for approx 3⁄4
hr, let the jam cool down and place in a blender and
liquidise to a smooth consistency and store in glass
jars, this will last for several weeks in the refrigerator
and has many uses or you can give some to your friends.
