From Junction 18 of M4 Motorway

From Junction 18, follow the A46 towards Bath for approximately 2.5 miles, passing on your way The Crown Innon your left and then the beautiful Dyrham Park and the Tollgate Teashop on the right.

Immediately after the teashop, take a right turn (there are no directional signs). Continue along this twisting road for approximately 1.5 miles until you arrive at the T-junction.

For the next couple of miles you will drive along passing Lansdown Golf Club and Bath Racecourse on the right. Continue past the Blathwayt Arms pub on the right and then on to the city outskirts. As you enter the city you will pass the Hare and Houndspub on the left.

You will then be driving downhill until you reach another T-junction with a church to your left. Turn right here and drive down the hill, passing The Farmhouse Inn on the left and Space The Belvedere, on the corner of Morford Street, and Grappa Bar near the corner of Julian Road.

Continue past Julian Road on your right and take the next right into Bennett Street (street name carved in stone at first floor level). Turn into Russel Street and the Queensberry Hotel is 50 yards up on the left-hand side.

Directions from Bristol City or Bristol Airport

The A4 from Bristol and the A39 both lead to “The Globe” roundabout approximately 3 miles from the hotel, these directions start from this roundabout.

From the roundabout, take the exit signposted A4 Bath onto the Bristol Road.

Continue forward on the dual carriageway, following the signs to Bath A4 and Newbridge Park and Ride take the left exit from the dual carriage way joining the A4.

Continue forward crossing a bridge, and passing The Boat House restaurant and park and ride on your left this road becomes Newbridge Road.
Continue forward on this road for approximately one and a half miles, going straight ahead through each set of traffic lights. You will pass The Weston pub on your right and Royal Victoria Park on your left.

This road will become Charlotte Street where you will reach a give-way junction joining Queen Square.
Continue straight on to the traffic lights, keeping in the left hand lane. At this point you will see the park area in the centre of Queen Square on your right.

At the lights take a right turn onto Gay Street, continue up the street heading for the trees at the top of the road. As you approach the trees you will need to signal left to carry straight on.

At the top of Gay Street you will reach The Circus, a roundabout with trees in the centre. Take the second turning off the roundabout onto Bennett Street.
From Bennett Street, take the second turning on the left on to Russel Street, the hotel is near the top on the left hand side.

From A36
From A36 entering Bath, keep right onto Beckford Road signposted all routes, Sydney Gardens will be on your left and you will be approaching a pub called The Crown.

Keep in the right hand lane then at the traffic lights turn right onto Bathwick Street, signposted Chippenham, Stroud, M4.

Continue forward onto Cleveland Place West, there is likely to be a queue of traffic along this stretch of road during peak times. Continue forward passing the fire and ambulance stations on you right hand side.

As you cross the bridge and approach the traffic lights, keep to the left lane, the road will fork off to the left signposted A4 city centre, take this left turn joining the London Road.

Continue forward over the mini round-about and joining The Parragon, a residential street with high pavements to the right of you.

As you approach the traffic lights join the right hand lane of traffic signposted Lansdown Race Course. Turn sharp right up-hill onto Lansdown Road.

Take the second turning on the left onto Bennett Street, approximately 100 yards up the hill. Take the first turning on the right onto Russel Street, the hotel is near the top of the street on the right hand side.
