Fodor's have spoken: we're one of their world's Top 100 Hotels! Only three other English hotels are in; our category is "Clubby Atmosphere - Hip urban pied-à-terre": "remarkable urban retreats . elegantly decorated rooms and a hipper social scene than most private clubs or apartment buildings". Head in the clouds, feet on the ground.
The Olive Tree has been awarded 3 AA Rosettes!
We've been awarded three rosettes by the AA Restaurant Guide, and we're tickled pink, magenta and mauve. Few restaurants earn the privilege; only one in ten in the AA Guide and, currently, there's just one other in Bath.

And now right in the middle of 'Bath Life', too. The city's loveliest and glossiest arbiter of what's happening wrote approvingly about the kind of high-quality cocktails to be found in The Old Q Bar this summer. (You might as well pop back now and sample the winter ones as well...)

(Five) stars and stripes
Ok, so maybe they don't dish out stars, but Fodor's do review loads of hotels for American travellers, and they've made ours a 2010 Fodor's Choice. In our experience, Americans are (in the nicest possible way) picky, demanding guests, so we must be doing something right...
This gem's a cut above
Imagine the sheer hardship of reviewing endless hotels; eventually they must all blur into one. Apart from ours. Square Meal said: “There’s no shortage of fine hotels in Bath, but this gem offers something a little bit different.” No arguments from us there.
